Aura plans to be the renewable energy provider to ethanol producers. In addition, Aura can add to an ethanol producer in the following capacities:
- Aura wears the technological, financial and operational risks of each facility
- Aura will build, operate and maintain its biogas facitilities
- Aura reduces overall energy costs for the host
- Aura eliminates waste management issues for companies, allowing them to operate efficiently and expand
- Aura reduces greenhouse gas emissions regularly generated from ethanol and dairy production
- Aura treats wastewater and reduces stress on local water supplies by recycling clean water back to the host facility
- Aura will structure agreements to buy the waste stream (feedstock)
- Aura will structure long-term site lease or site purchase near the host facility
- Aura will structure long-term offtake agreements with the host for the biogas and co-products
- Aura enables ethanol producers to earn tradeable RINs
- In some cases, Aura will use convert biogas to renewable electricity; thereby earning RECs
